Stan Kochanoff NPD ’62- Hockey Trophy

Windsor Warlords Defeated the Hant West Flames 4-2 To win the Kochanoff Cup!

The game played on March 29, 2025, the annual High School Alumni hockey Game between the
former Windsor Warlords and the Hants West Flames. It was a hard fought game with superb
goaltending. Windsor won the contest 4-2 with two third period goals. 1st star: Ray Croft
(Warlords), 2nd star: Phil Ingram (Flames), 3rd star: Jeff Burgess (Warlords).

I’m sure many were remembering Stan and this annual game and trophy named in his honour is
a good tribute to him. Stan organized the games, ice time, officials and teams for many years
prior to his death.

Stan’s wife Peggy attended with her DIL(daughter in law) and enjoyed the game and presentations. They are
creating a cup with a hockey and horticultural theme to present each year in Stan’s memory.
